Day 1: (Rendezvous Day) Group members rendezvous in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and tour city. Fly to Hail in evening; hotel night.

Day 2: Visit Oraif & Qishla Forts and desert surrounding Hail. Hotel night in Hail.

Day 3: Overland to Al-Ula. By 4WD visit Jubbah and remote areas dotted with extraordinary rock carvings and unusual landforms. Hotel night.

Day 4: Continue 4WD explorations to the spectacular Nabataean rock tombs carved into huge desert rock monoliths. Hotel night.

Day 5: Overland to Madinah across the desert and through small enroute villages. Fly to Abh in the southwest. Hotel night in Abha in the mountains.

Day 6: Overland to Asir National Park and Al Sudah to Jebel Sawdah (10,522'), Saudi Arabia's highest peak, and cable car to Al-Habala. Day hiking; night in Abha.

Day 7: Overland to Jizan on the Red Sea.Tour old dhow harbor & city, Saudi Arabia's major commercial center.Night in Jizan.

Day 8: Fly to Jeddah. Tour the souks, Corniche and visit the open-air museum. Night in Jeddah.

Day 9: Airport transfers and homeward-bound departures.
